So recently I’ve been asked by several people why I do not attend or speak at such events as the UK Hypnosis Convention, Hypno-Thoughts Live or similar meetings that take place around the World each year?

The answer to why I don’t attend is quite simply that the vast majority of the time I am too busy actually working in the real world either changing peoples lives for the better or entertaining them with the power of Hypnosis.

Indeed from the 1st to 4th November 2018 I shall be in Sweden filming a Unique Four Part Performance Art project where I will be Hypnotizing people and which, in time it is planned will be broadcast on TV stations all around the world.

Another reason is that some of the organizers quite simply don’t like me as for example anyone who looks at my site of www.hypnotismexposed.co.uk would in many cases realize that some (not all) of these people have never really achieved anything of real note in the real world with real clients.

As for why do I not speak at these events, well that also is simple, either the organizers have not asked me to or they won’t cover my expenses, let alone pay me any kind of fee and I simply don’t work for free.

The thing is after almost 30 years in the Hypnosis Industry and after having shipped literally Millions of my Products, Courses and Products all over the world I have nothing to prove and most certainly don’t need the “Free Publicity” that speaking for free at such an event is promised to bring..

Also in truth most of the organizers of these kinds of events are way too scared to even think about booking me because of my perceived reputation as “The British Bad Boy of Hypnosis”

The irony is (as anyone who has booked me can confirm) I am one of the easiest people to work with on such events that you will ever encounter.

Another irony is that year after year these events employ speakers that were either originally trained by me or at the very least did not become truly successful in their field until after they had received mentoring and coaching from me!

Anyhow some thanks are in order to those who in the past have been brave enough to approach me and engage my Services to run Live Seminars, Classes or Lecture Slots in their location and/or at their events.

I’ll start by thanking Paul Brady who back in 1993 – (25 years ago now) engaged my services to run my first ever one day Stage-Hypnosis training seminar for Hypnotherapists.

Secondly it’s time to thank Kevin James who engaged my Marketing Services on behalf of Tom Silver in order to help sell more tickets for his London event many years back now, an event I attended as an invited guest.

On another occasion Kevin James kindly suggested my name and convinced Valerie Austin to give me a trade stand, guest ticket and chance to speak on stage at the First International Hypnosis Conference in London.

When Richard Nongard came to England with John Cerbone to run his first UK Speed Trance event in Manchester, Richard contacted me and invited me as a guest to the event so that I could act as their adviser on British Hypnosis Laws relating to Stage & Street Hypnosis something that I was happy to do in order to help keep the industry SAFE.

Andrew T. Austin was the first person brave enough to ask me to speak to his NLP & Hypnosis Meet up Group and his words of praise can be seen along with comments from the other people mentioned in this post at the links to testimonials which follow shortly.

Nick Davis of the Warwickshire School of Hypnotherapy was also brave enough to ask me to speak for his local NLP meet up group which I was happy to do at The Jaguar Club in Coventry.

For organizing my two day “Real Results Hypnosis” workshop in Bristol my thanks also go to Sue Preston.

Firstly USA wise many thanks to Brian Stracner (Srota) for being the first person to promote one of my events in America by bringing me out to Sacramento.

This was closely followed by Incredible Hypnotist Richard Barker booking me to be the first ever Headline Speaker on the first ever “Hypnotist Entertainment Cruise” which took us from Florida to the Bahamas and beyond.

On that cruise I met Magical Adviser to David Blaine Jay Noblezada and several months later he promoted me in Las Vegas where we ran an amazing event at the Paris Hotel & Casino with great Success.

My thanks go to Tellman Knudson who engaged me to speak on both “The Hypnosis Event” and also “The NLP Event”, two events that saw me on the same programme
as the other “big names in the industry” and which were at the time (and I understand
still are) the biggest ever online Hypnosis & NLP Conferences of their kind with the
largest amount of listeners & attendees around the globe.

The thanks continue to Martin Rothery who asked me to be a speaker at the official opening day of “Future House Therapy Centre” in Chesterfield on 4th January 2018 as per this video – https://youtu.be/wuxZNyVsRco

And since then has appointed me as an Independent Hypnotic Consultant and Adviser for Future House.

The short version being that I am and always have been available to speak and perform at such events but I do not work for Free…

Sometimes I will consider working for expenses (travel and accommodation and food etc) only but only for the right event but those are very few and far between..

Also I never pay to attend such events, I am either invited as a guest or I simply as a rule don’t attend.

Yes it’s true often I’ll happily help promote someones event in exchange for a guest ticket to attend but I’ll almost never (hey who knows what the future may hold) directly pay to attend.

But in all cases people have to approach me and BOOK ME for such events…
