On Tuesday 29th November 2022 a Parliamentary Lobby Event was organised and held by HACKED OFF – (The Campaign for a Free & Accountable Press) with help and support from TRUTH DEFENCE and also AVAAZ at The Houses of Parliament in Westminster, London.

This event was full to capacity, I attended in person and was delighted to be given the chance to share my experiences as a Victim of Rupert Murdoch’s “Fake Sheikh” Mazher Mahmood which are explained in detail at www.circusofthemind.net 

In short the event illustrated numerous reasons why we need to convince the Government
to reinstate Part 2 of the Leveson Inquiry urgently as in right now..

You can help by writing to your MP encouraging them to Lobby Parliament to have it reinstated, the more of us that write to our MP’s from all over the UK the more it could
have the result of getting something done about this.

I was also delighted that Comedian & Actor STEVE COOGAN who is a massive supporter of “Hacked Off” and seeking justice for victims of media abuse was at the event to give a short “Key Note” Speech as it meant that after almost 30 years I could in person pay him back the £20 he so kindly lent me after he had kindly also invited me to go Night Clubbing with himself & Comedy Legend Lee Evans after I had “Died on My Arse” as a support act (doing Stand Up Comedy) for Lee Evans that same night at Manchester’s Famous “Buzz” Comedy Club in early 1993.

Someone else took the picture and unfortunately it is a bit blurry, but for the record it was Steve who suggested that the picture be taken with him holding the £20 that he had just been reunited with after almost 30 years.

Also for the record I’d like to mention that Steve said he would be placing the money into the first Charity Collection tin that he saw!
 

Steve was also very complimentary about the short speech I gave in Parliament about my experiences as a victim of Rupert Murdoch’s “Fake Sheikh” Mazher Mahmood and my almost 25 year quest for Truth & Justice both for myself and also other victims of Media Abuse, Lies & Illegal Activities as detailed at www.circusofthemind.net 

He kindly told me that he thought what I said was both “Extremely Powerful, Thought Provoking & Compelling” for which I am truly grateful for such feedback.

One of the many other things discussed during the event was the Police and Media Corruption involved in the Daniel Morgan Murder Investigations, this being the most investigated and as yet unsolved Murder in British History as explained at
