Since gaining my OldPain2Go Qualification at the end of November 2017, I have been a member of the Private Certified OldPain2Go Practitioners Facebook Group, at least I was until yesterday 1st January 2018 when I removed myself from the group (leaving of my own accord) after it became clear to me that discussing, considering and so it seemed paying real attention to “Duty of Care” Laws, Health & Safety Laws and other relevant Legislation, Laws and Best Practice in relation to treating people with “OldPain2Go” was NOT something that was being encouraged.
indeed quite the opposite, Steve Blake directly commented something along the lines of that “we should not waste our time dwelling on Laws, Legal stuff and Red Tape etc when we could be helping people” and deleted many of my posts which offered relevant insight and advice in these areas.

For the record before I get onto the more disturbing and worrying reason/s that I left the OldPain2Go Facebook Group, allow me to clarify that I love the OldPain2Go approach and it does indeed work massively effectively with the majority of clients.
However as with anything it does not work 100% of the time with 100% of the people and again as always, as a therapist it is wise to be flexible and have several other approaches and techniques in your Tool Kit, with which it is often possible to help people when OldPain2Go does not work for them for whatever reason.
And indeed there are times, when frankly both from a Clients Personal Requirements point of view and also from a Legal, Lawful, Duty of Care and Legal Health and Safety Point of view, that it would be better to NOT completely eliminate the Pain Signals, but rather instead to turn them down to a more acceptable and manageable level.
OldPain2Go is essentially almost fully explained by Bandler in his book “Frogs into Princes” published in 1981 and indeed books much earlier also published the Core Essence of what is being sold as OldPain2Go
It is indeed true to say that the basic essence and core working of the OldPain2Go method are revealed within the pages of Richard Bandler’s Book “Frogs into Princes” which was first published in 1981, it is as they say very true that there is nothing new on the planet.
Indeed there exist books from many decades earlier than “Frogs into Princes” that teach the use of Ideo Motor Response (IMR) as a way of communicating with the clients unconscious or subconscious mind to effectively negotiate (or as Steven Blake calls it Brain Bargaining another name which he has I gather Trademarked ) with the client to create the solution they desire, and yes this method has been used for Control of and Elimination of Pain Signals among many other things.
Is Jonathan Royle The Rogue Hypnotist? Alex Smith aka Royle has been accused of being The Rogue Hypnotist. All we are going to say is the Books by Rogue Hypnotist have large sections which are word for word identical to what Royle Teaches in his books and also on his many Video Training Packages!
And it is also true to note that within some of the books by “The Rogue Hypnotist” is taught direct communication with the Sub-Conscious or Unconscious using Ideo Motor response (IMR) and it is shown how to use it for all kinds of things in pretty much the same manner as you get taught when studying OldPain2Go.

Before I move onto the main motivation for this blog posting, I mentioned earlier that it is wise for a Therapist to have numerous techniques and tools in their tool box for the times when OldPain2Go does not work for the client or more importantly perhaps for those times when Total Elimination of the Pain may for various reasons not be considered the best option at that time.

In the video above I have used Noesitherapy combined with Conventional Hypnotherapy to help the Sports Man to Control Pain far better than he could do previously.
Although you cannot see the mans hands clearly, let me assure you he was doing these Star Press Ups with all body weight on his Finger Tips (His palms were not touching the floor)
BEFORE being Hypnotized he could only do 3 to 4 maximum of them before having to stop due to it becoming too painful for him.
AFTER a short period of Hypnosis combined with Noesitherapy and me applying some of my Sports Psychology NLP Hypnosis Methods he was INSTANTLY able to 12 of these usually Painful Star Press Ups..
FOUR TIMES THE AMOUNT OF STAR PRESS UPS IN A FEW MINUTES
In this example Total Elimination of Pain would have been Highly Dangerous as he could then have gone on for so long that the potential for long term permanent Physical Injury could have occurred, hence this is just one example of why Total Elimination of Pain Signals is not always the most appropriate course of action.

Mind Emotion Liberation Techniques
In recent times I have developed a technique which I call “Mind Emotion Liberation Techniques” or is also known as “Make Everyone Lose Trauma” and using it you can easily and effectively help your clients to “MELT” their problems (or their Pains) away.

However as with many similar approaches including OldPain2Go we make use of SUDS (Sensory Units of Distress Scale) at the start of the session (before treatment to gauge the clients Pain Levels) and then sometimes during and certainly at the of treatment to prove to the client that a definite change has taken place.
In the short video that follows I will teach you my “SUDS TRICK” which when used correctly will dramatically sped up your success and improve the results of your work with most any approach or therapeutic treatment technique you may be using.
To finish up in regards to “techniques” in truth it does not matter what you do, just so long as you fully understand How and Why all such Psychological Treatment Methods truly and honestly work (when they do work) and you fully understand how in reality most all approaches are nothing more than important seeming ritualistic processes which the client can focus on, buy into and attach their Belief and Expectations to and thus in turn they help trigger off the Placebo Effect.

WELL – I 100% Disagree with that attitude and point of view and thus I left the group and have put this post together.
The simple fact is that as a Therapist you have a Legal Duty of Care Towards your client, and abiding by that Duty of Care and all other associated “Health and Safety” Laws, Therapeutic Best practice, Risk Assessment & Management and other similar considerations SHOULD BE YOUR UTMOST PRIORITY AT ALL TIMES.
Indeed should you ignore such matters and ever find yourself facing a Negligence Claim through the Courts, not only would you be far more likely to lose, but also chances are your insurance cover would be deemed as invalid due to you not having paid attention to all relevant “Duty of Care” and “Health and Safety” Laws for your profession and that could leave you footing a massive legal bill from your own pocket and for most that would mean selling their Home, Bankruptcy and even worse!
Surely that and the fact that its your Legal, Moral and Ethical Obligation to make SAFETY and abiding by all relevant laws and legislation your utmost concern should be enough to motivate you to investigate, study and then ensure you are doing things 100% correctly?
