BUT in short below is copy of an email from the ROYAL MINT confirming that they keep records from the time period of my “”Fake Sheikh” case BUT that they have nothing connected to my name or my case indicating that the alleged Fake Coins were never sent to the Royal Mint by the CPS despite them claiming otherwise.
On my blog in the Respondents notice from the CPS to my Renewed Grounds of Appeal submitted by me on 24th May 2019 you will see that they contacted the Royal Mint to check if this email was real and when told that it was and is REAL they suddenly state that they want the court to throw it out as evidence and not consider it in my appeal – why is that you have to wonder ??
ALSO when you look at my latest Enhanced DBS Certificate issued on 13th October 2020, you can see that I have only 2 Criminal Convictions on it and these are both for the SAME OFFENCE.
The irony being that as shown by the Police Arco & Crime Report Records I obtained under a GDPR request, it shows that internal records show them as claiming that BOTH OFFENCES TOOK PLACE AT SAME PLACE ON SAME DAY AT THE SAME TIME ??
HOW exactly is it possible to hand over 1,000 coins and 3 coins at the same location AT THE SAME TIME and it be considered two different offences???
The answer is simple THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE and so this illustrates that their records and documents are all INNACCURATE AND WRONG.
ALSO consider this if I (as I did) gave the coins to Rupert Murdochs Fake Sheikh Mazher Mahmood HOW COULD THEY HAVE EVER BEEN SEIZED FROM ME??
After all after Mahmood had apparently bought them from me THEY BECAME HIS LEGAL PROPERTY.
SO SURELY COINS WERE SEIZED FROM MAZHER MAHMOOD AND NOT ME MEANING THEIR DOCUMENTS ARE WRONG YET AGAIN.
Further as you can see on www.circusofthemind.net there are documents galore that contradict each other from the Police, CPS and Courts where they cannot even decide or agree on how many coins were apparently involved.
The correct number would be THREE 100% REAL COINS on first delivery and 1,000 COINS WHICH IT SEEMS WERE NEVER TESTED and thus never confirmed as real or fake on the second occasion making a total of 1,003 coins between 2 different days,,,
YET in documents they mention 997 & 3 = 1,000 thus a missing 3 coins, in other documents they mention 996 + 3 = 999 Coins which is 4 missing coins and so the comedy of errors and inaccuracies continues,.

UPDATE = Around a month ago I appointed a New Barrister and a New Solicitor and as we speak NEW PERFECTED GROUNDS OF APPEAL are being drafted and arrangement with the Courts has been negotiated for these to be submitted shortly and for these 100% UPDATED & PERFECTED grounds to be considered by the Courts in relation to my quest for Justice and Truth.
It looks like it will be 2021 now before I get a Court Hearing Date for my Appeal but I’ll keep you posted when I hear more…

However in short, by comparing the above 2 documents with the 2 Grounds of Appeal Documents above them, it will become clear to you that the COA missed the point in many ways, mostly that, although I thought I had engineered & set things up and had the intention of exposing Mazher Mahmood, it turns out that I was ENTRAPPED by Mahmood and his team who were always one step ahead of me and applying pressure and intimidation behind the scenes as and when they felt it was needed.
One of their associates (my publicist at the time) also aided in this behind the scenes manipulation and in truth seeded the idea to try and expose the Fake Sheikh’s techniques into my mind in the first place. When that and the fact I now have seen proof (a receipt of payment to a Private Investigator) of Unlawful Information Gathering is considered it becomes clear that Mahmood not only knew that I knew who he was, but that further he (not me as I naively thought) was ultimately the Architect and Engineer of the whole series of events.
The only reason the Fake Coins were ever delivered to Mahmood by me is that he provided the money to get them in advance, his team member and another associate informed me where to obtain the coins (most likely from someone on their payroll) and they used veiled threats to manipulate me into getting them.
Plus of course as I knew who he was, I knew that the coins would never enter circulation and would instead ultimately have to be handed to the Police and I would fully co-operate with the Police (as I did) in a quest to bring some real criminals to justice at the same time.
This thought occurred into my Alcohol (they plied me with drinks) and Drug affected (they drugged my drinks) head & most certainly along with the behind the scenes veiled threats ultimately pushed me into doing what I never intended and really never wanted to do, namely doing anything that was actually breaking the law, something I could not have done anyway unless they supplied the money upfront (as they did) and they also supplied the information of where to actually obtain the coins (as they did) and who to look for.
I had only ever intended to ring a Local Massage Parlor (as I did) and arrange for some Girls to come and visit Perry Khan (Mahmood) when I was not there (something that was not and is not illegal) which I thought would be enough of a story for him (he had done stories in the past to other people doing same) for an article to appear and for me to then produce my recordings and evidence that would show he had distorted & lied in his story as he often did which would of given me a great story to sell to a rival newspaper.
However despite them knowing that I knew who they were this was not enough for them and they persisted to call me day after day asking me to get other things which I each time made excuses as to why I would not be able to supply such to them and I never did.
Then the intimidation & veiled threats behind the scenes escalated and I did finally agree to another meeting, but I did not intend to do anything which could ever be considered Illegal.
However you look at it I WAS ENTRAPPED into doing something I would never normally ever have dreamed of doing and Illegal & Dishonest methods & techniques were used by Mahmood, his team & associates in order to entrap and manipulate me in this manner.
Further I was likely Drugged (I have a witness statement from a Former Mahmood Employee who witnessed such happen in another Fake Sheikh Sting) in the way many other Mahmood Victims have claimed they were including Tulisa Contostavlos and her friends in order to make them more suggestible and compliant.
But it seems that the COA could not get their head around the very real facts that although I have always stated that I engineered the situation (and did indeed believe that 100% until very recently) the shocking real truth is that Mahmood in conjunction with my former Publicist had manipulated me into thinking it would be a good idea to try and expose Mazher Mahmood so that they could then be one step ahead and engineer things to do as much damage to my life and career as they possibly could so that (they hoped) I would never be able to fully expose the extent of their routinely dishonest and illegal actions in the course of manufacturing fabricated stories and situations against innocent victims like myself.
Another BIG QUESTION REMAINS = Why was Mahmood never charged for buying Counterfeit money from me?
After all if (as was accepted in Court & by the Police etc) I was collecting the coins in the course of Journalism to put together a true Public Interest Story for a rival newspaper, and yet I was charged with collecting & delivering them, why exactly was Mahmood not charged by the Police for providing the money to buy them and purchasing them?
Why was Mahmood afforded so called Journalistic License and yet I was not despite the fact the Police and Court/Judge etc at the time all agreed that the evidence showed that I was doing what I did with the intention of getting a story together to sell to a rival newspaper?

In the week that Amazon Prime Video launches its must-see three-part documentary, “The Fake Sheikh,” we can exclusively reveal shocking information that raises serious questions about the credibility of one of Britain’s most infamous journalists, Mazher Mahmood, known as The Fake Sheikh.
This is information backed by court documented evidence that goes far beyond anything that the 3 Part Amazon Documentary uncovered as is illustrated by the Four Review videos compiled by Fake Sheikh Victims Alex Smith that are located between the text on this page.
Court documents, presented to Politicalite by British Magician Alex Smith, also known as Hypnotist Jonathan Royle, have cast a shadow over Mahmood’s career. These documents indicate that both the Metropolitan Police and the Crown Prosecution Service concluded in 1994 that Mahmood could not be considered a truthful witness in any further legal proceedings.
However, convictions based on his evidence and deception continued until the collapse of the 2014 drugs trial of British pop star Tulisa Contostavlos.
Startlingly, during disclosure in the Phone Hacking High Court Cases, documents were discovered in possession of News Group Newspapers that showed the MET Police and the Crown Prosecution Service communicating about the 1994 collapsed trial based on a 1992 Fake Sheikh Sting Story. The documents revealed that both organizations agreed that Mahmood could not and should not be relied upon as a witness of truth.
This raises a concerning question: Why did they continue to rely on his fabricated evidence until the 2014 collapse of the Tulisa Contostavlos drugs trial?
It suggests that all convictions obtained based on lies, dishonesty, and manipulated evidence supplied by Mahmood and his team since 1994 should be considered unsafe.
The failure to disclose this information to Mahmood’s victims is deeply troubling and may warrant the overturning of these convictions. Indeed, we can confirm that during disclosure in the Phone Hacking High Court Cases, amongst documents found to be in possession of News Group Newspapers were documents where the MET Police and Crown Prosecution Service are communicating with each other about the 1994 collapsed trial (mentioned in the grounds of appeal of Alex Smith) based on a 1992 Fake Sheikh Sting Story. The MET Police basically say to CPS and both agree with each other that HE COULD NOT & SHOULD NOT ever be relied on as a witness of truth again.
And yet they continued to rely on his fabricated evidence until the collapse of the Drugs Trial of Pop Star & Former X-Factor Judge Tulisa Contostavlos in July 2014 which finally led to The Fake Sheikh being charged, convicted & jailed for conspiracy to pervert the course of justice after he tampered with evidence being used in his sting against Tulisa.
This means that all convictions obtained based on the lies, dishonesty and fabricated or edited evidence supplied by Mazher Mahmood and his team from 1994 onwards should all now be considered unsafe and most likely overturned as never did the Police or CPS at the time disclose these facts to any of his victims and never have they done so since, despite issuing disclosure packs to many fake sheikh victims following the collapse of the 2014 Tulisa Contostavlos drugs trial where Judge Alistair McCreath caught Mahmood Lying and ended the trial.
Indeed the year after Hypnotist Jonathan Royle was jailed in 1999, another Fake Sheikh sting this time on Rhodri Giggs (brother of the famous footballer) ended in a not guilty verdict, and the judge suggested that the prosecutors should be investigating Mahmood instead, for supplying drugs after the case was dropped because prosecutors decided they could no longer rely on the recorded evidence of Mahmood.
During the Leveson Inquiry The Fake Sheikh famously boasted that he had never been arrested for dealing drugs or any other activities that are clearly illegal under normal circumstances during the course of his investigations for the News of the World.
Whilst that may indeed be true, it omits to mention that various Judges & Legal Representatives have over the years suggested that Mahmood should be investigated by the Crown Prosecution Service for his activities as on many occasions it has seemed that he did not have a true public interest justification for doing such things.
It is interesting to note that in the 1999 case of Hypnotist Royle, whilst sentencing him, the Judge acknowledged that “this is not an ordinary case” and along the way it was also acknowledged as is confirmed by the Manchester Evening News report of 2nd March 1999 that Alex always knew who Mahmood was and his only intentions were to generate publicity.
The question is, why if (as he was) Mahmood was afforded so called “journalistic license” or “lawful excuse” for buying alleged counterfeit coins in this case was Alex Smith not also afforded the same “journalistic license” or “lawful excuse” as his intentions to expose Mahmood’s dishonesty and lies were and are most certainly fully in the public interest?
Is it because Mahmood & his News Group superiors like Rebekah Brooks are so well connected to high-ranking officials including Politicians & The Police?
Rebekah Brooks famously stated during Part One of the British Governments Leveson Inquiry into Media Ethics that she & her organisation had paid Police Officers in the past for stories & information (which is Illegal) & The Fake Sheikh once told a Police Inquiry “I’ve got bent police officers that are witnesses.” yet the police did not deem it necessary to follow this up.
During the 1999 trial of Lord Hardwicke, the jury were so shocked about the sting set up by Mahmood, that they wrote a note to the judge, Timothy Pontius, “Had we been allowed to take the extreme provocation into account we would undoubtedly have reached a different verdict,” they said.
The judge gave a suspended sentence and said to Hardwicke: “Were it not for that elaborate sting you would not, I accept, have committed these particular offences…. Journalists in general, and those involved in this case in particular, should carefully examine and consider their approach to investigations where it involves no police participation, or indeed until after the trap has been sprung and the story reported in the press.”
Similar concerns to these were raised by many of the legal teams of the Fake Sheikhs victims & even by some Judges over the decades he ruined lives with his dishonesty & often arguably wholly illegal actions.
In June 2003, when one of the biggest Fake Sheikh stories, about the plot to kidnap Victoria Beckham, collapsed Judge Simon Smith, in a hearing at Middlesex Guildhall Crown Court, said he was referring the newspaper to the Attorney General. Defence lawyers claimed it had shown “complete contempt for the administration of justice”. The judge responded:
“I am minded to refer the whole of this matter to the Attorney General to consider the temptations which money being offered in return for stories, in particular about celebrities, gives rise to and the way in which newspaper investigations may have a detrimental effect on ultimate court proceeding.”
In September 2003 a former associate of Mahmood’s, Florim Gashi, who had been involved in the collapsed Beckham kidnap trial, was alleging all kinds of wrong doing in the various stings he’d been involved in. This prompted an initial police inquiry into Mahmood, Operation Canopus which lasted until September 2005.
So between 2003 and 2005, the News of the World knew that Mazher Mahmood’s stories had been referred to the Attorney General.
Yet, in November 2003, Mazher Mahmood claims in his autobiography, he was invited to drinks with the then Met Commissioner, Lord Stevens, and Andy Coulson, then News of the World editor.
This was around the time one of Mahmood’s most headlined story, the alleged attempted kidnap of Victoria Beckham, collapsed.
Further as highlighted in a 2020 Channel 4 Documentary “Murder in the Car Park” about The Daniel Morgan Murder which is Britain’s most investigated but as yet unsolved murder, Mazher Mahmood & The News of the World are implicated in interfering with the Police Investigation and indeed Mahmood’s name appears several times in the Report published by the Daniel Morgan Murder Inquiry committee published in June 2021.
In June 2023 it was reported by the majority of the British Mainstream Media that the Metropolitan Police Service in London, England were to reportedly pay the family of the Late Daniel Morgan £2 million Pounds compensation over the ‘corrupt’ murder investigation.
It raises the question of If Scotland Yard were aware Mahmood had damaging and incriminating evidence against Met police officers, was that the reason they decided to drop one of their past investigations into him – in layman’s term; like the CPS, is Scotland Yard compromised by Mahmood too?
Our investigations also revealed that despite numerous Fake Sheikh victims asserting that their drinks had been spiked (as reported over the past few days by Politicalite) and that covert recordings made by Mahmood & his team had been heavily edited to present things out of context at no time did the Police or Crown Prosecution Service inform victims as per their legal duty of disclosure that they had known about Mahmood’s unreliability as a witness since 1994 or that they had known from at least 1999 (via the collapsed Rhodri Giggs case) that Mahmood’s heavily edited recordings could not be relied upon either.
The first part of the Leveson inquiry avoided looking too closely at the relationship between the Metropolitan police and Rupert Murdoch’s News International – that was intended for part two of the inquiry, a part two that the Conservative Government have cancelled and swept under the carpet and which every British Citizen who values truth & justice would be wise to contact their Local MP about asking them to lobby Parliament to reinstate Part 2 of the inquiry.
One of the questions Part 2 of the Leveson inquiry could perhaps help answer is, why did the Police & Crown Prosecution Service continue helping Mazher Mahmood & his Rupert Murdoch backed News of the World & then Sun on Sunday team to continue ruining peoples life’s based on many occasions down to nothing more than fabricated evidence & victims who were entrapped, manipulated, drugged to make them more suggestible & compliant and then routinely lied about in the stories of “The King of Sting” Mazher Mahmood.
Also we feel that a full public inquiry into all past convictions obtained as a result of Mahmood’s Stories should be carried out as a matter of urgency especially when you consider that Hypnotist Alex Smith has shown us documents illustrating that in the alleged Counterfeit Coins Sting Story which The News of the World ran on him it took Mahmood nine days from getting the coins until he handed them over to the Police and there is absolutely no proof of the safety of the chain of evidence during those 9 days so how do we even know they were the same coins?
Indeed documents shown on Alex’s blog www.CircusoftheMind.netcampaigning for justice in these matters also illustrate that Mahmood tampered with evidence in his case (as it seems he has done in many past cases) as despite the story stating that on their first meeting Alex handed him three £1 coins and then at a later meeting handed over 1,000 coins thus making a grand total of 1003 coins handed over between two meetings, the Police & Court records related to his 1999 court case only make mention of 3 coins for the first meeting and then 996 or 997 coins at most for the second.
Where exactly did the other 3 coins vanish to?
Well Alex thinks he can answer that, “You see when Mahmood mentioned counterfeit coins, I played along and acted the part and said I could indeed obtain such (despite not having a clue where to get them until one of his associates gave me this information) and so I just handed him three pound coins from my pocket these being genuine pound coins which I handed over pretending them to be examples of the fake coins that as I acted my part in my quest to expose his dishonesty (see Politicalite story of 23rd September 2023) I was falsely claiming I could obtain.”
“In other words I fully believe that Mahmood had to “lose” the 3 coins from the first meeting and not hand them to the police as they were indeed genuine and would have raised far too many questions about his activities”
Alex concluded:
“Ironically in recent years I have, following a GDPR request to The Royal Mint discovered that although they do indeed keep records and still have records from circa 1998/1999 in relation to coins sent to them for forensic examination and validation as either genuine or counterfeit, it seems that they do not have any records connected to my name, the Police, CPS, News of the World or the Fake Sheikh suggesting that the alleged “Fake coins” in my case were never forensically tested and/or confirmed as such and that rather the word of a serial liar that both the MET Police and CPS knew from at least 1994 could & should not be trusted was indeed for no apparently logical reason trusted without question”
Following the collapse of the 2014 Tulisa Drugs Trial many high ranking individuals spoke out publicly in the media about The Fake Sheikh, these comments included:

Fake Sheikh Mazher Mahmood has been accused of drugging multiple celebrities and royals during his time on undercover sting operations, several sources have told Politicalite.
The infamous News of the World hack is set to be the subject of a highly-anticipated ‘’Amazon Prime Video Documentary out tomorrow – which is set to reveal how the reporter donned an Arab Sheikh costume to dupe some of the most famous and influential names across the globe.
He was yesterday accused via Politicalite of using the date rape drug GHB to entrap the hypnotist and magician Jonathan Royle – whose real name is ‘Alex Smith’ in 1999, which led to the arrest and imprisonment of the man in a forgery scandal.
Steve Grayson, a former journalist who is now the managing director of Kavanagh Sterling – an international business intelligence firm – is featured in the documentary that premieres on Tuesday on Amazon Prime and also alleged incidents of the drugging of sting victims by Mahmoud.
He revealed what he knew in a legally sworn statement seen by Politicalite – which he kindly provided for use by Alex Smith aka Hypnotist Jonathan Royle to use in his ongoing quest for justice to get his arguably unsafe Fake Sheikh related Convictions overturned.
“I have been asked what I know about the spiking of drinks.” alleging that Mazher “boasted” about his links to a pharmacist who could supply him a drug that had the same effect of GHB.
“He said he used it in his social life to “seduce” (if that’s the right word) young women.”
He also recalled an incident at London’s Savoy Hotel where Mahmoud poured a girl “who was not being very forthcoming” a drink and claimed that within twenty minutes the girl said she “felt woozy” but was “much more talkative”.
“She was later sick in the bathroom. It seemed to me that he had spiked her drink.”
Politicalite.com can exclusively reveal multiple allegations of his involvement in the alleged plot to entrap his victims with his trickery – that has seen his old colleague in the stings speak out against his alleged involvement in plots to destroy the reputations of high-profile sports stars, celebrities and even royals.
THE FAKE SHEIKH ‘DRUGGED STARS AND ROYALTY’
HYPNOTIST Alex Smith – whose real name is Jonathan Royle has claimed that the undercover reporter used dark techniques to get his legendary scoops – that won him prestigious industry awards even being named “reporter of the year” in 2011.
Smith alleged that the actor John Alford, Boxer Herbie Hides, Model & Actress Emma Morgan were victims of “spiking” during stings.
That’s not all, according to Smith, the Earle of Hardwicke Joseph Yorke, Stefan Thwaites, John Higgins, Tulisa Contostavlos, Lawrence Dallaglio & Other Celebrities & Royalty were also allegedly drugged by the Fake Sheikh.
Media lawyer Mark Lewis also claimed that Murdoch’s ‘Fake Sheikh’ was mentioned at least twice on Television News Programmes where his victims had been allegedly drugged.
Alex Smith claimed: Well one thing I can say for certain is that he did NOT call room service to bring us drinks on the occasions I met with him..”
“Instead he sent his “BodyGuard” or “Personal Assistant” down to the bar which meant leaving the Hotel Suite we were in, going along the corridor, down several floors in the lift, then finding the bar, queuing up and getting served and bringing the drinks all the way back upstairs (or in lift) the same way.”
“He could just have picked up the phone and ordered the drinks by room service and they would have been brought up and no doubt got there quicker.”
“Could it be the reason for this was so that one of his behind the scenes staff could tamper with the drinks in some way?” asked Smith.
“I certainly can’t think of any other logical reason for why you would not just pick up the phone and ring room service, especially when your not in a normal hotel room, but rather are in one of the expensive Suites and thus far more likely to get speedy VIP Service.”
Smith – a journalist himself added: “My research shows that various Fake Sheikh Victims experienced the same, namely that rather than use room service, he instead sent someone down to the bar to get the drinks.”
“My research also indicates a number of occurrences where extreme reactions to “drink” are involved in the reports of cases.”
“My research also shows that date rape drugs like GHB can and have in the past been used by people to make others more compliant both in what they say, do and can easily be manipulated into doing and saying where they would not normally have done so.”
Similar doubts have been raised about Mahmood’s Newcastle directors‘ expose. Hall and Shepherd claim the NoW had set out to prove they were cocaine users. When that failed they suspect Mahmood, or else a member of his team, ‘spiked’ their drinks in order to elicit their indiscretions.
Similarly, the snooker player John Higgins, who rarely drinks, was suspicious of drinks provided to him when he was enticed in 2010 into saying he would be prepared to fix matches in return for a large payment. No matches were fixed and Higgins protested his innocence. A subsequent tribunal set up by a World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association withdrew all charges of match-fixing.
“The tenth Earle of Hardwicke was lulled into a false sense of security at London’s Savoy Hotel, plied with Champagne, possibly “spiked” with the date rape drug Rohypnol, and questioned about his social connections”
Suspicions have also been been raised that Lawrence Dallaglio – Former England Rugby Captain may have been drugged by Mazher Mahmood. Indeed his girlfriend said he seemed odd after seeing the reporters. “He has no recollection of what happened. It’s all a blank to him.”
Then came the sting. After drinks, which John Alford – like so many other of Mahmood’s victims – believed were spiked, he was asked if he could obtain drugs for the prince and his cronies.
Giving evidence from behind a screen Mr Mahmood was today asked whether he or his associate, known only as ‘Nish’ had spiked the singer’s drink or offered her any money.
Jeremy Dein QC continued: ‘You and Nish spiked her drink didn’t you?’
The witness firmly responded: ‘That is absolutely outrageous.’
Mr Dein continued: ‘You spiked her drinks to get her to incriminate herself.’

A MAN who was jailed following a sting by an undercover News of the World journalist has claimed that he was drugged by the infamous reporter to entrap him in a forgery scandal, Politicalite can exclusively reveal.
Alex Smith, known as Jonathan Royle, was sentenced to six months in prison in 1999 after an investigation by undercover journalist Mazher Mahmood – known as the Fake Sheik who was once legendary dubbed by the UK media class the “King of the Sting” winning Reporter of the Year in 2011, as well as Scoop of the Year despite fake stories surrounding N-Dubz star Tulisa.
Mahmood – who is currently at the centre of an absolutely juicy MUST SEE TV Amazon Prime documentary was jailed in 2016 for tampering with evidence in the collapsed drug trial of N-Dubz and former X-Factor singer Tulisa Contostavlos.
Alex claims that he was “entrapped” by Mahmood and his team who he claims “were always one step ahead of me and applying pressure and intimidation behind the scenes as and when they felt it was needed.”
Speaking exclusively to Politicalite ahead of the premiere of the highly anticipated and controversial Amazon Prime documentary on one of Rupert Murdochs former star reporters – days after the News Corporation media titan stepped down from the company, Alex claims their associates and his publicist at the time also aided in this behind the scenes manipulation and in truth seeded the idea to try and expose the Fake Sheikh’s techniques into my mind in the first place.
He claims that Mahmood not only knew that I knew who he was, but that further he was ultimately the Architect and Engineer of the whole series of events such as the Posh fake kidnap.
“The only reason the Fake Coins were ever delivered to Mahmood by me is that he provided the money to get them in advance, his team member and another associate informed me where to obtain the coins and they used veiled threats to manipulate me into getting them.”
“Plus of course as I knew who he was, I knew that the coins would never enter circulation and would instead ultimately have to be handed to the Police and I would fully co-operate with the Police (as I did) in a quest to bring some real criminals to justice at the same time.”
Alex also alleges that the Fake Sheik “plied him with alcoholic drinks” paid for by News UK and also alleges that he was “drugged” with a “date rape” drug called GHB substance poured into his Alcohol.
“They plied me with drinks and a Drug affected me.”
“They drugged my drinks, head & most certainly along with the behind the scenes veiled threats ultimately pushed me into doing what I never intended and really never wanted to do.”
He claims that he was “forced” into doing something that was actually breaking the law, something he says he “could not have done anyway unless they supplied the money upfront and they also supplied the information of where to actually obtain the coins and who to look for.”
“I had only ever intended to ring a Local Massage Parlor and arrange for some Girls to come and visit Perry Khan (Mahmood) when I was not there (something that was not and is not illegal) which I thought would be enough of a story for him (he had done stories in the past to other people doing same) for an article to appear and for me to then produce my recordings and evidence that would show he had distorted & lied in his story as he often did which would of given me a great story to sell to a rival newspaper.
ALEX IN FIGHT TO CLEAR HIS NAME
SINCE he was released, Alex has been campaigning to clear his name and in September 2022 he filed Civil Proceedings for Invasion of Privacy and Unlawful information gathering against Rupert Murdoch’s News Group Newspapers in relation to Mazher Mahmood’s activities towards him in 1998.
He has also made some specific particulars of claim to make the assertion that The Fake Sheikh Mazher Mahmood & his team spiked his drinks.
“They edited tapes to give a distorted untrue view of events whilst also as has come to light in the past couple of years that he used unlawful information gathering techniques including phone hacking to always be several steps ahead of me in my attempt to expose his dishonesty in 1998 which backfired.”
“Ultimately in my case, had Mahmood not provided the money to go and collect the allegedly counterfeit coins from the source where one of his associates had told me they could be obtained then it would never have occurred and it did only occur because I was manipulated & threatened behind the scenes.”
“As well as my drinks being I believe drugged and in the heat of the moment me thinking oh well it won’t matter anyway as the coins will never get into public circulation and will have to be given to the Police by Mahmood who I knew the identity of from the start as I had anonymously tipped him off about me in a quest to expose his dishonest techniques. “
“Little did I know in 1998 that he did not just lie and manipulate evidence routinely but that he also used Phone Hacking & other unlawful information techniques to always stay several steps ahead of the game”
The Sun declined to comment after being approached by Politicalite.
