This week the Criminal Cases Review Commission has made their final decision in the case of Mazher Mahmood Victim Alex Smith aka Jonathan Royle Hypnotist, Magician & Psychic Entertainer.

And for reasons that seem to be negligent they have decided NOT to refer his conviction to the Court of Appeal despite numerous good reasons why they should do so.

Indeed these reasons, facts & evidence are all laid out clearly on Royle’s blog page at www.circusofthemind.net which you may want to read in full detail for more information.

May I also draw your attention to the BBC Panorama documentary entitled “Last Chance for Justice” about failings in the work of the CCRC that was broadcast on Tuesday 5th June 2018 as per:

Sadly I Can now personally relate to the complaints made in that investigation about how the CCRC may not be fit for purpose, for several main reasons:

a) They seem to have been extremely Lazy and just Copied and Pasted things the Single Judge said to compile their decision/s.

b) There are factual errors in their documents such as saying I was convicted in Feb 1999 when it was in fact 1st March 1999 and also the number of coins mentioned etc is also wrong as explained earlier on the page of www.circusofthemind.net

c) They have not contacted the vast majority of people who are mentioned on this blog page and linked to on this page. This is important as this page (www.circusofthemind.net) and its contents DID form part of my application to be reviewed and it seems to have largely been ignored.

e) They have concluded that everything I sent them was already considered by the single Judge in my earlier appeal which again is NOT TRUE as new information regarding the fact I and other Fake Sheikh Victims were drugged has come to light since the single judge looked at my case.

f) Other important things have occurred and come to light since the single judge looked at my case not least of which is Mahmood was convicted for Conspiracy to Pervert the course of Justice.

g) Despite several assurances over the years that my case would be looked at in conjunction with all the other Fake Sheikh victims cases that were/are with the CCRC at the same time, it seems that only the case of Boxer Herbie Hides was actually considered along with mine, despite the fact Mahmood used the same Modus Operandi with all of us.

Ultimately I do not believe for one second that my case has been looked at properly and/or investigated fully by the CCRC.

Rest assured I/we shall NOT be giving up until Justice has been achieved and my conviction (and those of my fellow victims mentioned on this page of www.circusofthemind.net ) are overturned.

Even if that means getting a Judicial Review into how the CCRC made their decision, whatever it takes this fight for Justice and Truth is not over yet.

Please feel free to publicize this travesty of justice and should anything further (not yet mentioned on www.circusofthemind.net ) about the Fake Sheikh Mazher Mahmood and his illegal activities and dishonest methods come to light please do not hesitate to let me know as it could well prove helpful in my impending reapplication to the CCRC and/or potential Judicial Review application against them.

This was accepted and acknowledged in Court as Fact by The Police, Crown Prosecution Service and the Judge in the Manchester Crown Court Case which ultimately led to Royle (aka Alex Smith) entering a late plea of guilty as he was advised at the last moment, that he was not going to be afforded the same “Journalistic License” for his activities in the attempted expose of Mahmoods Techniques as would be afforded to Mahmood himself and thus help protect the “Fake Sheikh” from Prosecution for many years.

As was accepted and acknowledged in Court, Royle always knew who he was dealing with and knew that the Counterfeit Coins that he delivered to Mahmood would never enter
into public circulation, but rather would be handed to the Police by Mahmood and ultimately
Royle would then be able to help the Police investigate those who supplied the Coins.
